WINTER MARKET BERLIN-FRIEDRICHSHAIN
Between old trees, wild plants, and wooden terraces, a special place filled with light, music, and winter delights comes to life on three Advent weekends. Fire torches and warm light installations immerse the garden in an atmospheric ambiance. Delicious scents of hearty winter specialties waft from the food truck, while hot mulled wine and live music ensure cozy hours.
Not a classic Christmas market with a sea of stalls and Christmas kitsch. Rather a wild winter garden to discover, enjoy, and linger.

Anyone looking to combine the Wild Winter Garden with a special evening can look forward to our Grand Winter Feast.
While the conservatory outside glows in warm light, we invite you inside to the festive hall of the Alte Turnhalle. Beneath the grand chandeliers, we serve a winter-themed 4-course menu with flexible seating starting between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, featuring classic flavors, seasonal ingredients, and a vegan alternative.

WHEN IS THE WILD WINTER GARDEN OPEN?
On Saturday, December 5, Sunday, December 6, Sunday, December 13, Saturday, December 19, and Sunday, December 20, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM each day. On Saturday, December 12, the conservatory will be closed for a private event; our brunch from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM will still take place on this day.

No, admission is free. Entry is subject to available capacity.
WHAT IS THERE TO EAT AND DRINK?
From the food truck and wooden hut, you can enjoy hearty goulash, vegan sausage, sautéed mushrooms, and fresh waffles. Pair them with wild mulled wine with rosemary, juniper & sea buckthorn, hot apple punch (non-alcoholic), Purple Chai, Budvar on tap, freshly brewed filter coffee, as well as sodas and other drinks.
WHAT IS THE GREAT WINTER FEAST?
A festive 4-course winter menu in the grand hall of the Alte Turnhalle: winter lamb's lettuce, creamy parsnip soup, crispy duck leg (vegan alternative: braised king oyster mushrooms), and speculoos mousse, served with brioche and a selection of breads. €59 per person, including a reserved seat. Doors open at 5:30 PM, dinner starts at 6:00 PM. Advance booking is required.
CAN I COMBINE THE CONSERVATORY WITH THE BRUNCH?
Yes. On all Wintergarten days, our brunch with live music takes place from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and the Wintergarten opens at 1:00 PM. You can reserve your spot on our brunch page.

You can find us at Holteistraße 6, 10245 Berlin-Friedrichshain. Take the S-Bahn to Ostkreuz or the tram to Boxhagener Str./Holteistraße.
